It applies to operators of electrical supply networks especially public networks. Excluded are for the time being: - High voltage direct current (HVDC) power transmissions; - traction systems; road lightning networks; - equipment for the end-users; - installations for the generation of electrical energy. The present DIN VDE 0109-2 (VDE 0109-2) is only valid in connection with DIN V VDE V 0109-1 (VDE V 0109-1).
